Pro Optical Safety Rx Eyewear is dedicated to the eyewear (prescription glasses, prescription goggles, accessories) needs of the Canadian work force. However the first thing we are in the market of selling is actually not prescription safety eyewear, but the elusive customer service! Any optical company can sell eyewear, but we have found a very large part of the sale must be our customer service! We know what word of mouth is and means as a very large part of our growth has come from this alone!
We understand that trying a pair of glasses on for a few minutes may not dictate how they function for you in the field. Many factors can come into play such as the style of hard hat you wear, hearing protection or half mask respirators. So we give our customers a 3 month trial period. If you are not happy with the fit or functionality of your new glasses let us know. If we have to make new lenses, or change the frame and make new lenses we will take care of it with no hassles. We want our customers to be completely satisfied with our services from top to bottom.
We are an authorized dealer of many of the brand name frame companies and all our safety frames are ANSI Z87 and the lenses meet CSA standard Z94.3-07. All lenses are checked for proper safety thickness and ensuring the standards are being met with every pair of prescription safety glasses, and then stamped for verification.
Pro Optical Safety Rx (prescription) Eyewear uses only high grade true free form progressive digital lenses and we have lenses that are specifically designed for wrap around frames. We can also offer digital lenses for our single vision wearers as well. Our Toric lenses are made for those with astigmatism. In our Edmonton branch we can have your eyewear done in 5-10 days. For out of province jobs average time will be 10-14 business days. Visit us today at Pro Optical Safety Rx Eyewear, located in Edmonton Alberta at 10542-106 Street.
NEW THIS YEAR!
Much of our focus has been on proper fitting prescription safety eyewear over the past years. The reality is that approximately 60%-65% of Canada's work forces do not wear prescription safety eyewear. They are wearing the generic throw away eyewear. So our concern is that has the largest percentage of your work force been properly fit checked on the current eyewear your company supplies? A very large number of eye injuries occur from improper fitting eyewear.

Pro Optical Safety Rx Eyewear now offers on-site fit testing for throw away eyewear. We will come in and fit test your employees to narrow down their selection to a couple of styles from your current inventory. We can also offer an on-line and mobile app that holds the profile of each employee for what eyewear he / she have been fit tested for. From this we can also monitor how many pairs of eyewear they are going through each month and have reports drawn up for your company. We have found that companies have been spending in the range of $200-$400 per employee per year in disposable eyewear, which in some cases is more than is allotted for prescription eyewear!

We can help monitor the amount of eyewear each employee is using each year. This may result in some shocking findings that can be addressed to save you money. Please contact us for more information on this program.
